For The Love of Our Clients: 4 Years Later
June 2, 2020It’s been almost 4 years since I wrote one of my favorite insights “For the love of our clients…” As I reflect on that article, it feels in one respect that not much has changed and yet so much has changed. We have now been in business for almost 8 years and I know without a shadow of a doubt, we are here first and foremost because of our amazing team and second because of our amazing clients!
So, before I share about my appreciation for our clients, I am going to talk about our team for just a minute…The team that we have surrounded ourselves (and our clients) with is simply put, INCREDIBLE. These individuals bring so much to the table each day and are constantly pushing me personally to be better. Where one is weak, another is strong. Where one struggles, the others step up. Iron truly sharpens iron.
This group pushes me to work harder, to give just a little bit more and (almost always) with a giant smile on my face. They continue to teach me to appreciate the challenges, because as we overcome them that is when we get better; to be thankful in all things because that is when we truly appreciate what we get to do day in and day out. It is an honor to be a part of such an amazing team but even more so, to know that our clients are 100% in good hands!!! What John and I have worked hard for is important to those we have working for us too! Wherever they are, our mission is clear! We are here to #advancehealthcare.
And now I would like to focus on our clients. Consulting brings a unique opportunity to be around such diverse organizations and people. While most consulting groups are in and out, our relationships have continued to create new opportunities with the same clients and even more opportunities with new clients. Our clients aren’t just another contract or a number for us. They are organizations that are looking to do better, to be better and to best serve their patients. And we have the greatest privilege to serve them. The excitement I talked about 4 years ago?? That feeling when accomplishments are achieved, when return on investment is obvious? It’s all still there! The excitement is still real, and it continues to be such a great feeling!!! It continues to make me proud to be partnering with our clients, and it makes me even more proud to continue to carry out our vision for John Lynch & Associates.
Our client’s well-being and successes really do matter! Our team’s integrity is incredibly important. Each day I am reminded of how lucky I am to be working for this organization!
